A better than usual game for your rating. The typical game there scores 78%, and the middle half land between 69% and 85%.

85% is the typical Lichess blitz game for players rated 2200 to 2399.

How it works

The Lichess numbers come from 404,358 rated games played in September 2026 that someone had Lichess analyse, scored with Lichess's published formula. Lichess open database

The Chess.com numbers are Chess.com's own accuracy, from 21,112 rated games played in September 2026. Chess.com only reports accuracy on games someone ran Game Review on, so these are reviewed games.

Your game is compared with games by players in your 100-point rating band. When that holds fewer than 300 games, the window widens to the bands either side, and the gray line under the answer says what it counted. Accuracy is rounded to a whole number first, as the data is.

Questions

What does the percentile mean?

It is the share of games, by players near your rating on the same site and time control, that scored a lower accuracy than yours. If it says 70%, seven in ten of their games scored lower. It describes one game, not your level.

Is my accuracy good for my rating?

Above 50% means better than a typical game at your rating. In Lichess blitz, the median game scores 76% for players rated 1200 to 1399 and 83% for players rated 2000 to 2199, so the same number means different things at different ratings.

Can I compare my Chess.com accuracy with Lichess games?

No. The two sites use different formulas, and their ratings sit on different scales. The calculator only compares a number with games from the site that measured it.

Why does it say too few games for my Chess.com rating?

Chess.com only reports accuracy for games someone ran Game Review on, and it has no bulk download, so our sample holds 21,112 such games. Some rating ranges have too few of them. Where the games near your rating number fewer than 300, the calculator says so instead of guessing.

Where do the numbers come from?

404,358 rated Lichess games from September 2026 that Lichess analysed, scored with Lichess's published formula, and 21,112 rated Chess.com games from September 2026 with Chess.com's own accuracy.
