KingChess for Lichess Players: The Training After the Analysis

If you play on Lichess you already have the best free analysis in chess: deep Stockfish on 40 games a day, an unlimited analysis board, "Learn from your mistakes", and Chess Insights over your whole history. What Lichess does not do is talk to you about the game, connect this week's blunder to last week's, or bring the position back tomorrow. That is where KingChess sits. It reads your Lichess games by username, no login and no password, and adds those three things.

A coach who talks
Lichess shows you the engine's move and the evaluation. Coach Bjorn explains why, in plain words, and every sentence is checked against the board before he says it. He points at the piece you left behind, the punishing move you missed, and how many players at your rating find it. On the free plan he explains 5 moves a day; on Premium he speaks on every move, up to 100 a day.
The pattern behind the losses
Insights tells you that you lose more in the middlegame. KingChess tells you why: the same kind of blunder in game after game, named, with the games behind it. The report measures five things: blunders, tactics, endgames, discipline and openings. Then each drill room points at what it found.
Your own positions, on a schedule
Learn from your mistakes shows you a mistake once. KingChess puts it in a spaced-repetition rotation: you rate each attempt Again, Hard, Good or Easy, and the position comes back in 15 minutes, then an hour, then longer each time you get it right. Miss it and it comes back at once. A free account drills 10 of your blunders; Premium drills every one.
How they fit together
Nothing to export and nothing to install. Type your Lichess username on the KingChess home page and the latest game is reviewed on the spot; the first half is open to anyone, a free account opens the rest. Link the username in your account and new games arrive as you play them. You still open Lichess for the analysis board, and you still play there. KingChess is for the part of improvement Lichess leaves to you: noticing what repeats, and practising it.

Questions people ask
Does KingChess work with Lichess?
Yes. Type your Lichess username and your latest game is reviewed free, no account. A free account reads your last 10 Lichess games and keeps new ones coming in as you play.
Do I have to link my Lichess account or give a password?
No. Lichess games are public and KingChess reads them by username through the Lichess public API. Nothing is written to your account and there is nothing to authorise.
Does it replace Lichess analysis?
No. Keep the Lichess analysis board; it is free and excellent. KingChess sits on top: Coach Bjorn explains the moves in plain words, the report names the mistake that repeats across your games, and the drills bring your own positions back until the pattern sticks.
