KingChess x Growth Gambit: A Partnership for Chess Improvers

Some news from the community side. KingChess is partnering with Growth Gambit, an up-and-coming Discord server built around the same thing we care about: actually getting better at chess, not just playing more of it.

Who Growth Gambit are

Growth Gambit is a chess improvement community on Discord. Players share their games, talk through their mistakes, and grind the climb together. It is a newer server, which honestly is part of why we like them. Small improvement communities are where people actually get feedback on their games instead of shouting into a crowd of thousands. What we are doing together

This is not a logo swap. The partnership has an actual training loop attached.

A shared Lichess team. We are setting up a joint Lichess team that members of both servers can join. That gives the two communities one place to play under the same flag: join the team here.

Joint arena tournaments. With the team in place, we will run regular team arenas on Lichess, announced in both Discords. Casual, recurring, open to every rating. The point is reps against real opponents, not prizes.

Blunder review after every arena. Here is the part we think makes this loop genuinely useful. After each tournament, paste your username into KingChess and it pulls the blunders you just made in those games and turns them into puzzles you drill until they stop happening. Play, find the mistakes while they are fresh, fix them, play again. That is the whole improvement cycle in one evening.
